More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My junior year I participated in a class called education professions. I was a student teacher for a 4th grade class at West Clay elementary and it was by far the best class I have ever taken during high school. I babysit frequently and I also nannied during my junior and senior year and absolutely love it!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I babysit on top of nannying, I am full of energy and love doing all sorts of activities. Especially during the summer including, going to the pool, picnics, playing fun sports outside, and whatever the kids are wanting to do!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is learning from the kids I get to hangout with. It amazes me how much I can learn from these kids. I want to have a career as a child psychologist and it is really important to me to understand how every kid is different and to act accordingly.

My experience with special needs children...

I took peer at the high school which is a class working with students who have special needs. I also participated in Unified Track which is a club with students who have special needs. I absolutely adored doing both of these things.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moment is something that is more recurrent. Every time I pick up one of the boys I nanny from tutoring he tells me about his plan to get out of the next weeks tutoring session. I find this so funny because him and I both know he's not going to get out of tutoring but we like to pretend he can anyway.
