I have worked with children at my church for about 4 years. I deal well with kids who may have trouble trusting new people, are shy, or who also require a lot of attention. I have no problem working with children who have certain needs that they need to have met, as I know I want to make them as comfortable as possible. I personally always tell myself three things when working with children and families:1. always be patient - patience is the key to being able to work well with children and develop trust.2. don't be afraid to ask questions - if there is any concerns or questions I have about your child that will help me better understand them , I will ask.
