I have 10+ years of childcare experience and about 4 years of nannying experience.
In 2015 I volunteered with Vida 220 for one week in Costa Rica; serving the local community & after-school programs where we assisted with the children's homework, English studies & afternoon activities.
Additionally, In 2019 I volunteered with Ikhaya le Themba; an after-school program within the informal settlement of imizamo yethu, in Hout Bay, Cape Town, South Africa. There I stayed for one month and worked directly with the students for 2 hours each day after school. We led the students in their independent reading studies, homework, and projects, coordinated crafts, and several different games and activities, and prepared & served the students & staff their afternoon meal.
Lastly- My very first job in High school was lifeguarding at the local pool in Columbus, where I provided assistance with adolescent swimming lessons.

Making sure the child's best interests are at heart; providing positive reinforcements, encouragement, & redirection in order to implement stability; within the child's emotional, mental, and physical health- is crucial in being able to witness a child flourish & grow.

Aside from being a nanny, I'm also a musician & independent guitar instructor. I will never forget when 2 of my girls started learning guitar; and how so very excited they were to show me what they had learned. That was the sweetest moment in the world for me.
