Previously a nanny to three children (infant, preschooler, & eight year old) and now currently a preschool teacher with two years of experience working with children ages 3-5 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I believe there is learning potential in all spaces whether that be going on a nature walk or turning ordinary items into art. I have a Reggio Emilia and Montessori teaching background. Teachable moments can spark at anytime, and it is my aim to guide and educate when those are found. Children have innately inquisitive minds that what to learn. Education is not linear and neither are the minds of children. My hope is to insight a love for learning and exploring.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a part of a child's development is a privilege in itself. With that comes a responsibility to be a strong, present role model which I take very seriously. It is important that a child be surrounded by positivity, patience, understanding, and love. Those traits are what I hope to bring to a new family's life.

Through my preschool experiences I have taught children on various learning levels. My goal has been to meet each child where they currently are.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Each day presents new memorable moments for me. I adore all my children and their uniquely beautiful minds. I look forward to hearing about their trips to the zoo or wearing a friendship bracelet they made for me. Being invited to their recitals or baseball games or receiving handmade art is a joy. Being able to be a part of a child's life and brought into their little world is simply the best!
