Activities I enjoy doing with children...
when i babysit, i like to do fun stuff that keeps kids happy and busy. we could color, draw, make crafts, build with legos, or just get creative with whatever we have. if they have a lot of energy, we can go outside and play games like hide and seek, tag, or red light/green light, or make chalk art on the sidewalk. board games, puzzles, and little scavenger hunts always make things exciting too. if their parents are okay with it, we could even decorate cookies or make a simple snack together. i really just like making babysitting fun and creating moments that kids look forward to

the most important part about being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe, cared for, and comfortable. beyond just watching them, it’s about building trust, paying attention to their needs, and being someone they can have fun with but also rely on. it’s being patient, responsible, and staying calm even when things get a little chaotic. at the end of the day, it’s not just babysitting, it’s being someone who shows up for them, listens, and makes their day a little better
