A little bit about me

Hi! My name is BA and I have worked with kids of all ranges throughout my life. As a kid, I took care of my younger cousins and then began babysitting kids in my community as soon as I could drive. I've worked at camps for people with Autism ranging from 8-adults and I've worked at camps for LGBTQ+ kids ranging from 5-19. I also was a high school History teacher for 3 years, served as the Executive Director of a teaching farm, and have worked in workforce development for young adults. Being in a role supporting young people feels aligned to my purpose and natural skills. I'm creative and love to do crafts and games and can support with tutoring most, if not all, subjects. I'm also comfortable with house work and cooking meals/meal prep. Ideally, I'd like to work no more than 20 hours a week for a family and my preference would be to work with a queer family.
