A little bit about me

I have worked as a nanny for more than 25 years and am experienced with children of all ages, though my primary experience over the past 15 years has been with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I also have some experience with multiples and caring for multiple infants at once.

I prefer to take a very flexible approach to child care, and while I believe structure is very important to every child's growth and development, I respect that every child has unique needs, and the shape of that structure will likewise be unique. There is not one singular approach I use with my charges, preferring to adjust my style to their individual needs. I do place particular importance on teaching communication skills, especially emotional language.

I also offer swim lessons and am passionate about teaching the little ones in my care, not just to swim, but water safety.
