Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I will take any opportunity I can to teach a child something new and make a fun, memorable experience out of it! This can vary from taking them to walk on trails to explore nature, to reading and basic math, and even a little bit of Spanish! It’s very important to me to allow a child to grow intellectually and pursue their interests, so I will take note of that and plan activities around that as well!

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children on the autism spectrum. In addition, I have extensive knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes and how to manage blood glucose levels through food and exercise from personal experience.
