I’m 17years old, I’m apart of the Wild program at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. The WILD Program at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is a teenager program 9th-12th. It includes supporting conservation projects worldwide, educating visitors about wildlife, and participating in field research. The goal is to protect animals and their habitats. We also help out with other programs that’s also apart of the Zoo, like the seasonal camps for children as an assistant , and I’ve gotten many compliments on handling the children properly. When I’m babysitting or helping with children in general, I make sure to listen and have conversations with them and make them feel comfortable and safe. I love working with children because they will always be entertained with fun activities. I do well with staying organized with schedules, cleanliness, etc. I also enjoy cooking and baking as well!
