A little bit about me

I love children and I feel it is my honor and my duty to do everything I can to help a child grow up and be a contributing part of society with equal emphasis on having a good heart. I raised four boys who are all high achievers and I’m extremely proud of them. I was educated at the University of California Irvine with a BS in social ecology. I had a childcare business at catered to children on the low end of the autistic spectrum and we had great success and a lot of fun. I am considering a live-in position. I will cherish your children just as I cherished mine, and I will watch over them as if they were mine.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I raised four children, and I spent literally hundreds of hours volunteering for the boys classrooms, field trips, chess club and many other activities, including Lacrosse. One of my sons is playing D1 lacrosse.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to take younger children to parks that have a lot of plants and trees so we can look at the bugs and flowers and trees, and enjoy nature. Older children, I like to introduce to museums and other fun activities based on the parents preferences.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Excellent communication between the parents and myself so that I can understand what it is you want for your children. I have hired nannies myself, and I was often disappointed because I didn’t feel that their heart was in it. I love children and I do consider it very important job because great humans are formed by the adults around them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children on the low end of the autism scale, and I found it very rewarding because my methods are not the regular methods that these proliferating companies provide for children that I think are useless, but that is my opinion.
