I have been in school for mental health for about a year and a half and I have a passion for working with children. I have 7 siblings and over 10 cousins and I have been babysitting my entire life. I was paid to babysit for my cousins for years, I also watched a family friends child from when they were and infant until they were about 5 years old. I also have experience in camp counseling with young girls aged from about 11-14.

I love to play games with children or do sensory activities to get their mind stimulated, like slime or building blocks, educational science related projects were always fun for me growing up and it seems to be fun for the kiddos as well!

My experience with special needs children...

I have multiple cousins with ADHD and one with autism and I babysat them for years. Learning to figure out ways to get them to come out of their shell and adjust to life was something I was very passionate about at a young age. In camp counseling I had a young girl with autism and ADD and watching her struggle and then come through it was quite rewarding.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment is anytime a kid laughs and you know it’s because they’re having a good time. I love to see genuine joy on a child’s face it makes me whole.
