Hi Parents! I’m Baylee and a little about me is I graduated from Blue Valley High School in 2023. I worked at Children’s Lighthouse for about a year to save up my tuition for college. Now August of this year I’m going into my freshman year studying at Johnson County Community College and still working part time at the daycare. I have been working with kids my whole life, it’s something I really do love to do. I grew up always wanting to help my mom take care of the littler ones and have worked with a wide age range of kids from 2 months to 12 years old but of course I love all the kids I watch the same at the end of the day. My best time is to work Friday anytime after 2, and Saturday- Sunday since my availability is completely open! :)

I have been helping babysit with my mom since nine, started on my own at 13. I have continued to babysit since then and now have been working at Children’s Lighthouse for about a year now.

My kids at the daycare love to play outside. I always love watching them riding their little bikes around together. We also love to do crafts and play dress up together

My experience with special needs children...

In middle school and high school I helped in the special ed rooms. I would use my free period and helped the para’s take walks with the kids and helped with lunches.
