Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am a Counselor/Site Lead at Bonfield Grade School for the YMCA's before and after school program. I also worked during their summer camp. I was in charge of planning crafts, activities, and of course playing games with the children. I also have siblings of my own so I know how to cook and care for children. I'm very good with all children of all ages and I love getting to know all my little friends.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is understanding that every child is different. Working at the YMCA i come across kids fromm all backgrounds and journeys, so I know and learn everyday that not all kids will be the same. Some are shy, some are outgoing, and being able to work with that is what I think makes a great nanny.

I have two nephews who have Autism and have cared for several children who are also on the spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite part about childcare is when the kids tell me they love me, it makes me feel awesome that I've made a strong enough connection with them for them to feel that way for me. I love each and every kid I watch with all my heart.
