Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being active with the kids I nanny and taking them to the playground or to the local library for story time are things we do every couple of days. One of my favorite activities with little ones is also just playing in the backyard, collecting leaves and talking about nature and what we see around us. For cozy days reading books and dancing in the house are what we usually do.

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is seeing every child as a unique individual. I approach each child I meet with kindness and curiosity, so I can adapt what I’ve learned over the years to meet each child’s specific needs.

I have babysat kids on the spectrum and was an Aupair for two kids with ADHD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when I was able to slowly convince my 19 month old nanny kid to play in the snow. She had been scared of it for weeks, but when I finally made her open up to the experience she loved it. I still have a picture of my hand and her little hand printed on the snow from that day.
