Hello my name us Belinda. I am a 52yo female looking for part-time employment. I have 2 children 25 yo girl ( volunteer firefighter, medical assistant, EMT and in school to get her Paramedic.) 30 yo son ( Army combat Medic military police) I am remarried with a 14 yo step daughter. I am a very down to earth , fun , loving and easy to get along with. I love anything that's has to do with the outdoors. Work experience....for the past 20+ yrs I have worked in the medical field as a Medical Assistant. Childcare experience . . besides my kids and all there friends lol ..my last position held was with a family of 4 children 2 boy 2 girls ages elementary to high school . I did before and after school care, light house cleaing, after school activities, picked up sick kids , doctors appointments ect. . I am CPR certified and up to date on all immunization / vaccines. Dependable with reliable transportation. Available on short notice , weekdays and weekends if needed.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Before and after school daycare with a family of four children elementary School to high school ages. I would go there in the morning get them up ,get them ready for school and out to their buses. Then I would do a little bit of house cleaning and leave. I would come back in the afternoon to get them off their buses and make sure their homework was done ect, on occasion I would start dinner . When the kids were in after school activities, I would also take them and or them up. I would also pick up any sick kids, early releases Etc. Pretty much anything they needed help with. I was with them for about 2 years and when COVID came around that's when I got laid off.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Working is stressful but adding having to worry about your child throughout the day not knowing what's going on if everything's okay is even more stressful .....unfortunately we all have to work so we have to put trust in somebody..... that's where I come in. I am there to help my mom and dad's so that they can do their job and not worry so much . I have been there and done this, so I know you're anxiety and fears Etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don't really have one favorite kids are just funny as can be you never know what's going to come out of their mouth their little sponges they truly want to learn everything. I just enjoy them even when they're being ornery.
