The most important part about being a nanny...
young development is incredibly important. EVERY kiddo deserves to feel loved and cared for. that is just bare minimum. the brain that they are still forming is VERY impressionable, and childhood effects adulthood significantly, so its incredibly important to me that I'm able to help a kiddo form a firm foundation for them to build who they are on. todays children are our future. and i don't know about others, but personally I'm here to cultivate kind, caring, compassionate, confident, clever kiddos. (wow that's a lot of Cs)
My experience with special needs children...
i have not personally been lucky enough to care for a special needs kiddo, but my older sister had worked with them her whole adult life, and i often will help out. kiddos are like snowflakes, each one of them is absolutely beautiful and unique, and i have found special needs kiddos to be an absolute joy to care for.
The most important part about being a nanny...
i was sitting on the floor coloring with Bryce, a kiddo i was babysitting, and he accidently ripped the paper but he thought it was the funniest thing ever so i spent probably too long ripping paper in front of him because his giggle was just too precious.
