A current teacher and neurodivergent caretaker!
I have worked at daycares and childrens facilities, and want to continue my growth in understanding and helping child development.
I have had experience with two year olds all the way to mid life for care or education.
I love getting kids bodies and minds moving! Lots of playtime mixed with learning is my goal. Ideally things have some routine and structure as well as that is how I thrive.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Aides at preschools for a few years, summer school teaching positions, actively a teacher and caretaker for neurodivergent children (and adults).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making music and art with kids and really connecting to the world around us! Taking kids out to play and get physical activity as well as giving them indoor creative time with games and crafts.
My favorite thing is to simply talk to them and ask them questions while playing with something tactical like play dough or clay (it helps with the connection of physical and mental processing at the same time and I’ll get to know them better)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is to be able to show them another good role model, to feel like they have another friend in this world, and being able to take care of childrens needs when parents can’t. We’re all busy with our lives and have other commitments and it’s my privilege to be able to help them learn and grow!

My experience with special needs children...

My work with children on the spectrum started six years ago and hasn’t stopped since!
I have been a teacher aide for children with special needs: Down syndrome, Autism, ADHD, and sensory processing issues.
Actively working since 2023 as a neurodivergent caretaker and currently working on language acquisition and motor skills.
