More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes working as a camp counselor for Mid American PomPon, where I led middle and high school teams across Michigan. I worked with team sizes ranging from 6 to 36 athletes, planned team bonding activities, trained them on existing and new pom routines, and supported them in an open, encouraging, and structured environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include both indoor and outdoor fun, like arts and crafts with clay and painting, going on walks or hikes, playing at the park, and even going to see movies (I’m a big film fan!). I especially love getting creative with kids by making short films or music videos together. I’m always excited to help children express themselves and embrace their creativity in fun, hands-on ways.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, caring relationship with the child and their family. It’s about creating a safe, supportive environment where children feel loved, heard, and encouraged to explore and grow. Being attentive, reliable, and patient allows me to meet each child’s unique needs and help them thrive every day.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes working with children on the autism spectrum, both in professional childcare settings and personally, my older brother has autism. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I strive to create a supportive and understanding environment where every child feels seen, safe, and encouraged.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was taking the child I was caring for to their very first concert! It was such a joy to witness the pure excitement and wonder on their face, it reminded me just how magical live music can be, especially through the eyes of a child. Sharing that experience and seeing their spark for music ignite was truly unforgettable.
