Hello, I am Belle!
I am a teacher (general and special education), but I have experience as a private educator/governess, nanny (live-in/out and travel), babysitter, tutor, as well as caregiver for teens & adults with disabilities.

I have a dual BS in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I am currently an Education Specialist teaching an RSP/Mild/Moderate class full-time. So I am looking for after school/evenings/weekend positions.

I believe working with children is my purpose. I specialize in private/in-home tutoring/teaching. I enjoy seeing children thrive in social-emotional as well as academic skills as I work with them to be their very best so they can succeed in school and life. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading with children, playing games indoors and outdoors (even in inclement weather), playing traditional childhood games ( like ring around the rosie), singing, listening to music, helping with homework, giving instruction in ELA/math, etc. to support in home learning goals, going to the park/zoo/aquarium/library, and other fun things to engage and entertain them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is being able to make a difference in the lives of children and give them what they need to grow and develop as well as be successful in our world/society.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with children that have Down Syndrome, Autism/ASD, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, PTSD/toxic stress, Dyslexia/Dyscalculia, visual and/or hearing impairments, learning difficulties/differences, TBI/cognitive impairments, and other learning difficulties/disabilities. I also have experience with children on oxygen, a feeding tube, an insulin pump, and other healthcare needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favourite nanny moment was when I was building forts with some of the babies I cared for...they told me I was an "epic fort builder" 😂 I thought it was the sweetest thing ever. I also loved cheering them on during their games/matches/meets.
