I have not only been a nanny with my family members children but I recently had a job to worn with children on the autism spectrum as well as an RBT( registered behavioral therapist). I've done tutoring for children as well at my old middle school and would love to work with children after I'm done with my psychology degree
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love everything haha the little ones always love playing with toys, getting read bedtime stories, watching shows or having sing alongs! It all depends on the child of course and their age range but I always try to get to know them and see what works for them :) and of course as long as it's safe
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think it's really important to really listen to the parents and the child's wants and needs. Being there is not just to watch over them but also for them to trust you and know their child is safe with you. It's important to keep the little ones safe since they will one day they will grow up and become amazing human beings.
