The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing is safety, physical and emotional, safety. I alway stay current on CPR/1st aid certification, but also take continuing education courses to help me help any kids that may have special needs. I am also a certified Medication Administrator.

I have taught deaf children, ADHD kids, and kids with ODD...every kid has been a learning experience, ultimately making me a better teacher and person. Plus, in the classroom, it made for a wonderful teaching opportunity for both me and the students

Honestly, I have been doing this for too many years to have a fav. Some things that have entered into my hubby and my vocabulary: “. Are you eating a peanut butter and sandwich?” “”Wow, that ollieclocker was low!” (or helicopter). And my favorite- William told me he got a “horsey kiss” from another teacher...you know, that piece of chocolate covered with foil...😆😆
