The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part is making sure the kids feel like they are heard and understood. They are so much more capable than we sometimes think and when you take the time to communicate in there way it can make a tremendous difference.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taken care of a nonverbal child for multiple days and overnight. I really enjoyed learning the cues and finding solutions when things did not go as planned. Redirecting was a very helpful tool.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was playing masked singer with twin boys. Coming up with silly costumes and preforming songs.
