Hi there! My name is Bethany. I’ve been a nanny for over a year, caring for two sweet little girls, mostly on weekends. I also have four years of experience in the restaurant industry, including three years as a server. Currently, I’m an on-call (emergency) server at a restaurant downtown when they need extra help.

These early experiences really grew my passion for childcare and laid the foundation for my current work as a nanny.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and encouraging environment where children feel valued and supported. Clear communication with both the kids and their parents is key to building trust and working as a team to help the child grow and thrive.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was in elementary school, I spent a lot of time with students who had special needs, especially during playtime and physical education. I loved connecting with them through fun, active games and being a supportive, encouraging friend. That experience helped shape my heart for inclusion and patience from a young age.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was celebrating potty training success—it felt like we both deserved a trophy! I love being there for the little milestones. Seeing their excitement when they realize they can do something on their own is the best feeling ever!
