I cared for several different families during the years I was a stay at home mom to my two boys. They are now 22 and 17; and I simply love caring for and share my love of learning and exploring with kids. I work part time but am very flexible in my availability. I am available weekends also.

Children need to know that they are supported and loved -no matter what. That life is not about a trophy but about the ups and downs that happen along the journey. I’m a huge believer in talking about things vs. seeeping them under rug. My boys were raised with the same philosophy… I always made sure they knew that their voice mattered even if it wasn’t the same as what I felt. I find the more present we can be with kids-the more successful they will be in each and every new experience they have.

Honestly, I have many great memories but my favorites were usually watching the excitement of them realizing they achieved something they thought was too far out of reach and sharing that excitement.
