I worked as a Sunday school teacher at my church, I have also worked in the nursery. I volunteered at the Boys and Girls club all throughout my college career. I have my BA in psychology, emphasis on child development.

One of the best processes of learning and development is through play! Interactive activities such as a game, puzzles, or just simply running around! It will promote healthy behaviors and patterns and aids social development as well! Taking children to the park is a great way of bonding or learning about their favorite things such as books, TV shows, toys really helps the relationship.
My experience with special needs children...
In the church, we have had a couple of children that had Autism. Depending on the severity, we accommodated to their style of learning. There have been some language barriers but we would have a trial and error process in which the child understood and we had a decent communication.
