"Bianca is very caring and kind. She always listened to my kids and followed my rules and instructions. She always kept me informed about what went on with my kids during the day or night. She was a very safe driver with the kids. My children had nothing but respect and good things to say about her. They were always happy and cheerful when I came back home. She even helped them out with their homework. During shelter in place she was amazing to come and provide respite during the weekday. I highly recommend her. She’s even good with pets. My German shepherd loved her. Bianca would take my kids and dog for hikes and they all loved it."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as an assistant teacher for about 6 months in an afterschool program. the children were 5 - 8 years old. i absolutely loved the job but i had to leave it due to some family issues. we would help the children do projects, read them books and play games outside. i would always join in on ball games, swinging, and just letting them ramble about their favorite things. It was by far one of my all time favorite jobs and i miss those kids dearly. of course, i've also done the random babysitting gigs here and there.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to take the kids new places when the parents are comfortable with it. 2 of the families i worked for, allowed me to take the kids on random adventures and it was in fact encouraged. we would go to beaches, aquariums, zoos and whatever other places they could think of. Even when i could only take the kids to the park i would try to find something to teach them about, whether it was about a bug that flew by or a flower we saw. I'm a curious & playful person by nature so sometimes answering a question for them turns into a good lesson for all of us. I also love swimming, reading and hiking. some of my older kids absolutely loved our wanderer excursions where we would find the closest trail and spend as long as we could slow-paced exploring it.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing is how the kids feel. Kids are the legacy we leave behind so i think its important we teach them how to live good and happy lives. I love to give the kids i work with a sense of independence as much as i love to spoil them like an aunty would. I always try to give them a nudge in the right direction. For instance i worked with a bilingual family who were Indian. I did my best to pick up little words here and there to use alongside english to encourage their 2 & 1/2 year old to talk more. Mom & dad did use alot of baby talk (which there is nothing wrong with and i myself use) and with this the baby wasn't trying much to use her words. i would encourage her to ask for things and after a few months Mom even commented on how well the baby had began to use her words.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with a 5 year old girl and a 4 year old boy from different families who were both verbal and had level 1 autism. I also worked with a 5 year old boy who had a severe speech impediment and speech delay. I myself was in a speech class from kindergarten to 6th grade, so i am familiar with the exercises to help resolve speech impediments.
The most important part about being a nanny...
one day while walking through town with my nanny kid who was 14 by this point, he told me he sees me as his older sister. it absolutely melted my heart. i jokingly told him he was like the older brother i never asked for. to which he laughed and rolled his eyes, then i hugged him and told him i really am glad i got to know them. i worked with his family for 2 years straight on a daily basis then for the next 2 years it was on and off help for mom as they moved a couple times. I was pretty close with the mom and we saw each other not just in a business way but also as friends. Another family i worked for, the Mom used to say i was like the older daughter she never had and i loved that!
