hi! i’m braelyn murray, and i’d love to nanny for your family this summer! i’m from stillwater, oklahoma and the oldest of five—so taking care of kids has always been a big part of my life. my youngest sister is five and we’re best friends! i love baking, photography, and anything that involves being outside or creative. i’m super dependable, energetic, and love bringing a positive vibe into any home!

this summer, i’ll be leaving on a mission for the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints at the end of july (july 28), so i’m available to work until about july 14. i have a few things planned: may 29–31 i’m babysitting for a family friend, june 7–13 is our family reunion (“murray mania”), and june 27–28 is a family reunion on my mom’s side. other than that, i’m super flexible and would love to help however i can! i totally understand if the timing doesn’t work, but if it does, i’d be so excited to meet you and your kiddos!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Over the summer I nannied a 2 year old little girl 5 days a week and some weekends! Our days consisted of going swimming, walks, reading books, eating yummy snacks and naps! I also watched my 4 younger siblings in the morning growing up!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking the kids to the park! Not only does it get their energy out but it’s also so fun to play tag with them and to spend time in nature! Growing up me and my siblings would always build blanket forts… I’ve become a “master” according to my little sister Kamri! Hide and seek is also another one of my favorite games, it gets the kids super excited and it always puts a smile on my face! During the summer, with kids I babysat, we would make homemade popsicles and then while they are freezing play outside in the water! After everyone has their fun outside i’d bring the popsicles outside, it was the best snack!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The first most important thing about being a nanny is to be attentive. To make sure I always know where the kids are and what they are doing! The second is to have fun and be involved! Not only does it make it fun for me but the kids always love when I’m involved in the fun! These two things go hand in hand because if you’re being attentive then you’re involved, and when I’m involved I make it fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was in the summer the little girl I was nannying for (her nickname is Cricket) asked me to take her swimming. When we started walking to the backyard she asked me for a popsicle, she had the biggest smile on her face and we made our way to the pool. We played mermaids and had so much fun going down the slide!
