I have worked at a daycare for the past year with all different sorts of age groups. I also have a baby brother who is 7 months old that I frequently babysit for my dad and stepmom. I also have a neice who is about to be 2 years old that I babysit for my older sister, a nephew who is 4 months old that I often babysit for my older brother, and a baby cousin that is 5 months old that I frequently babysit for my aunt.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing with the children with singing and dancing. I enjoy playing with toys and making a game out of cleaning up. I love baking with the children and coloring as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny in my opinion is doing whatever is best for the children. I like to keep a clean and safe environment for children so they’re able to learn and understand easierand more efficiently. I also like to keep things fun and eventful, and have healthy relationships with the children in my care.
My experience with special needs children...
I have an aunt who is mentally disabled, she was ran over when she was 5 years old and suffered a traumatic brain injury, she is in a wheelchair and she thinks and talks like a 5 year old in a 36 year olds body. I also have a cousin who has down syndrome, so I'm very experienced with those types of special needs.
