So I have worked and volunteered at my local daycare, Drop-N-Play which tends to kids ages 3-14. There we took kids to field trips all across the state, had cookouts and overall had a fun time! I’m a high school student who’s on the way to being a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) which means I have a hefty health care background.

I love to finger paint, face paint and all types of arts & crafts with kiddos! Just Dance is always fun and I try my best at other physical activities like kickball and basketball.

For younger kids creating this bond where they want you around and feel comfortable with you is most important, however with older kids it’s so special having a personal relationship and seeing how they’re able to rely on you.

I do have family members with adverse mental illness and special needs however I do not have specific experience with caring for children with special needs.
