More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was an assistant teacher for children kindergarten- 4th grade, where I organized/facilitated educational games. I was a one-on-one mentor for 2nd graders where I helped them with reading/writing. I was an assistant coach for a middle school girls basketball team where I helped during practices and supervised during trips, and lastly I recently worked for a daycare. At the daycare I was a teacher so my responsibilities included leading group activities, potty training/diaper changing, preparing meals, etc.
My most recent role was as a support teacher for a pre-k class of 16. My students were between 2-3 years old. At this school we practiced an unbiased curriculum allowing children to independently explore their interests in learning, nature, social interactions, and more!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

arts & crafts, dancing, singing, teaching them about plants or everyday wonders they have.

My experience with special needs children...

only applies within my family. I have an autistic cousin and I’ve been one of his biggest supporters. When being with him I know to be patient and understanding but also firm so he doesn’t feel different but he’s still getting his needed assistance.

Genesis N. - Seeking Work in San Francisco

Full-Time Nanny Available in San Francisco, CA: Genesis N.

Hi! I’m a CPR-certified mom to a 2-year-old daughter and I’m looking for a family that’s open to a nanny mom setup where my daughter can come with me. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and creating a calm, fun, home-like environment for them instead of just sitting inside all day.

I enjoy age-appropriate outdoor activities, parks, reading, learning through play, and engaging children in fun everyday activities, snack/lunch prep, and little adventure days. I also enjoy teaching younger kids simple things throughout the day like colors, shapes, counting, phonics, letters, and basic learning through play and everyday activities.

I’m naturally patient, nurturing, and very used to caring for toddlers full-time. I’d love to find a family that likes the idea of their child having companionship, outdoor experiences, learning, and a more warm and engaging environment throughout the day.

Florisel P. - Seeking Work in San Francisco

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in San Francisco, CA: Florisel P.

My experiences ranges from taking care of newborn, toddlers, twins, share care. I can provide great references from past families that I have worked with. I enjoy what I do because children make it worth all the effort and time. The best experiences have been watching children grasp new ideas and learning new things. Children are extremely creative and each is very unique. As much as they learn from me, I learn from them. A team player and look to build a long-term relationship with a family
