More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I graduated with an Early Childhood Education degree and have been a Pre-School teacher, as well as an International School Kindergarten-1st grade teacher, an Assistant in a Pre-K and Infant Montessori school and a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and Assistant in the public school system in Hawaii. I also was a Nanny for a spirited, creative little two year old, as well as care giver to my two year old nephew and 8 month old niece until she was two years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy learning their interests and going with that -- are they lovers of the outdoors, or do they like books and creative activities?
I have many educational games and books for young children (gathered from the years as an Early childhood teacher).
I enjoy reading and exploring the little bugs and plants they may find outside - but they can have fun dancing, singing and being silly with me, cooking up a child safe recipe, and/ or relaxing with soothing music for nap time ( if they so need ).

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part to being a Nanny is feeling the child trusts and feels secure in my care. They are happy to be with me and don't feel separation anxiety once the parent needs to leave. Being attentive and aware of their particular needs is also very important.
My experience with special needs children...
As a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, I have had some children with Special needs joined my classroom. I would worked with the Special needs Teacher in following their IEP.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Well, I have had many - living in Seattle, Washington, there were a multitude of fun, creative places to enjoy. Taking my two year old to a large gymnastic building that was specifically made for young children was amazing! Driving to the lakes and going in the stroller or walking along the paths that curved along the lake - was something she really enjoyed.
I also enjoyed the car rides where we would sing to her favorite musician Caspar Bsbypants.
My favorite memories with my nephew were the camping trips I took with his parents and the beaches we visited on the Big I, and with my niece, I enjoyed the walks we took along the coast.
