In this role I planned many children's holiday parties, as well as monthly activities for kids and families. There are so many important parts to being a nanny. The health and well being of the child(ren) seems the obvious answer and should be a given. Additionally, I believe quality time, listening and engaging in conversations with children and respecting a child's boundaries are at the top of my list of most important things. Communication with parents and aligning the care of their children with their expectations is also extremely important for everyone.
