More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience working as a camp counselor, babysitter, and daycare worker. In these roles, I cared for children of various ages, planned activities, supervised both small and large groups, and ensured a safe and engaging environment. These experiences helped me build strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to handle different situations calmly and responsibly.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing a mix of fun and engaging activities with children, such as arts and crafts, outdoor games, and creative play. I also enjoy reading with kids, helping with homework, and coming up with structured activities that keep them both entertained and learning. I try to balance fun with routines so kids feel both excited and comfortable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, trusting, and positive environment for children. It’s not just about supervision—it’s about building relationships, supporting their growth, and being someone they feel comfortable with. Trust, reliability, and genuine care are essential in making both children and parents feel secure. It makes the job so much more fun when there is a solid foundation built.
My experience with special needs children...
I have meaningful experience working with children with special needs through both my roles as a camp counselor and daycare worker, where I was often specifically paired with children with autism and Down syndrome because of my patience, attentiveness, and ability to connect with them. In these roles, I learned how to adapt communication, provide extra support, and create a structured and comforting environment tailored to each child’s needs.
I also volunteered with the Special Olympics at App Ski Mountain, where I helped individuals with a range of disabilities learn to ski. Being paired with these participants highlighted the trust and care that comes from working closely with children and adults with special needs, and it strengthened my ability to create inclusive, empowering, and fun experiences for everyone.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny is seeing children take the social skills I model and use them on their own. Watching them grow over time and gain confidence while I build a strong, trusting relationship with them is incredibly rewarding. I also love the trust that comes from being able to take them out on activities with their parents, knowing they feel comfortable and confident leaving their child in my care. Those moments of growth, connection, and shared fun are what make this work so meaningful to me.
