Hi! I'm Bri! I love spending time with kiddos and am passionate about helping families and having a positive impact in children's lives. I am currently employed as a childcare licensing inspector III with the state of Texas. I have extensive training in minimum standards for daycare operations, medically fragile and intellectual delayed and disabilities, CPR, safe sleep, SIDS, abusive head trauma, and training from nurse practitioners through Peak Vista. I was previously employed through the state of Colorado Department of Human Services as an investigator on the abuse/neglect unit for children 0-12 years old (medically fragile and IDD). I have worked as a Teen and campus administrative assistant and mentor for 3+ years in Colorado My goal is to instill kindness, support and love into kiddos while helping out where I can for families. I believe every child deserves to be heard and loved. I am outgoing, organized, empathetic and intentional with my work.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Currently a Child Care Licensing Inspector III with the state of Texas. I have experience working with children ages 0-12 who are considered medically fragile and intellectually delayed/disabled. I was an abuse/neglect investigator with CPS for 3+ years in Colorado as well. Training in safe sleep, CPR, abusive head trauma, SIDS, IDD, and training medically fragile children by nurse practitioner through Peak Vista.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to inspire children to discover what they want to learn about and help them become passionate about. I love playing outside with them, teaching, singing, dancing, etc. I love to cook as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Getting to make an impact on a child's life is the most important part about being a nanny to me. They are going to spend most of the day with me, and having that responsibility is an honor.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked for 3+ years with IDD children, (children with down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, etc.) with the state of Colorado for the Department of Human Services.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love establishing genuine relationships with the children and families I get to work with. Children remind me to not take life so seriously and to find joy in the small things. These are the memories I remember the most.
