The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel cared for and parents feel at ease. It’s about building trust, showing patience, and helping children grow not just in their routines, but in confidence, creativity, and independence. Being a nanny isn’t just a job to me, it’s about forming real connections and making a positive difference in a child’s life.

I also have experience caring for children with special needs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and compassion. I have supported children with developmental delays, behavioral challenges, and unique learning needs by adapting activities, creating structured routines, and encouraging positive reinforcement. I enjoy finding creative ways to help each child feel comfortable, supported, and confident while meeting them at their individual level.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was watching a shy little one I cared for gain confidence over time. At first, she was nervous to try new things, but with encouragement and fun activities, she slowly opened up. I’ll never forget the day she proudly read me her favorite book all by herself, the smile on her face was priceless. Moments like that remind me why I love being a nanny and how special it is to be part of a child’s growth.
