My experience with special needs children...
I’ve been working as an RBT for the past year and a half and have hands-on experience working closely with children with autism. 💕 Through my job, I’ve learned how important patience, consistency, communication, and understanding are when working with each child. I have experience supporting children through challenging moments, helping with communication and social skills, encouraging independence, and celebrating all the little wins along the way! 🥰 One of my favorite parts of being an RBT is building a genuine connection with each child and learning what makes them them. Every child is different, and I love finding ways to make them feel understood, comfortable, and supported. 💕✨
