I have over a year experience working in a classroom for children with special needs. This classroom included kiddos with all different kinds of abilities and disabilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was at the park with two young boys I was nannying. One brother was playing while the other was sitting with me on the bench. When I asked if he wanted to go play he stated, "no, I just want to sit and watch the world." I took a picture of him on the bench in front of the sunset and gave it to the parents. To this day they still have the photo hanging on the wall with that quote. Sometimes kids say the sweetest, deepest things!
