Hello, my name is Bri and I am 22 years old. I have been working as a professional nanny for the past 4 years, but I have been working with/caring for kids from a young age and it's become a passion that I want to create a career out of. Volleyball referee at 15, an assistant coach and then a private coach at 17; working with kids K-12. Worked in childcare at a gym for a few months before it closed. One-time jobs for friends of current nanny family frequently.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I currently live in Raleigh and have gotten to know the city very well since working for my current family. We have a range of outdoor and indoor places we love to go to. We go to the pool a lot during the summer time and another favorite is a trampoline park. I love going on Pintrest to find cool and educational activities I can do with my kids.

The most important thing to me about being a nanny is creating a safe environment for every child I care for.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with a 10yo who was on the spectrum and non-verbal for a year before he went back to school. It was very educational, challenging and I overall had a great experience working with the child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment of all time would have to be when I was walking home with my current kids, from school, in the pouring rain. We took off our shoes, danced in the rain and splashed in the puddles. There are so many moments like this that make me so thankful for the line of work I've chosen.
