Growing up I volunteered for 8 summers at various vacation bible schools in and around my community working with the younger kiddos! All four years of high school I volunteered for our special athletic competition, working with and helping kids with various physical and mental delays. Also from the ages of 16-20 I nannied my two cousins every summer from when they were born until I moved to mankato! Along with babysitting/ helping care for a family friends son with Cerebral Palsy from when I was 13-20!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outside any chance I have! In the summer I love taking the children In watching to the park or pool! Playing chalk and going on nature walks! For those days when it’s cold and rainy, I love to keep your kiddos active! Making a fort, putting on a play, or doing some arts and crafts! I love watching children learn things while doing activities, even if it’s just the smallest thing!
