Hi new family,
My name is Bree. I have been in the childcare business since I was 12. I have been a Sunday school teacher, camp counselor, Awana leader, teachers assistant, English as a second language teacher, I’ve taught internationally, and I’ve done childcare internationally. I’m not CPR certified anymore but can retake the course if need be. I love animals and am great with kids all ages and even kids who need a little more attention. I love playing with kids and just helping them learn and grow up. I can help with lights house cleaning, meal prep, and pick up and drop offs. "Breanna Hollingsworth volunteered with The League of Dreams during the 2019 baseball season as an angel, a player helper and personal cheerleader. Miss Hollingsworth volunteers 10 hours over 8 weeks. The League of Dreams, Inc is a 501(c)3, non- profit organization that gives every child a chance to play by providing sports training, team camaraderie, and competitive sporting opportunities for athletes with disabilities ages 5-22. We currently have over 600 athletes involved in our programs and the numbers continue to grow each year."

Hi Future Family! My name is Bree, I’m 20 years old and I reside in Bakersfield, California. My first job was a Sunday school teacher at my church and I babysat for women in my community. I eventually started helping as a camp counselor, VBS leader, and AWANAS leader. I got many opportunities to do childcare internationally, such as in Nepal, Ukraine, Slovakia, and Israel. I am free spirited and a kid at heart. I love kids' curiosity and being there for kids in general. I know what it’s like to be a kid and for kids to be learning and with that comes patience. I am a fast learner and kids adapt to me very well.I love playing imaginatively, barbies, LEGO’s, coloring, outdoors, I’ve done it all. I have a valid driver's license. I can run errands, grocery shopping do school drop offs. If you need me to be vaccinated or CPR trained I can be (CPR license needs to be renewed) I am comfortable traveling, being a live in nanny, with infants, with pets. I have many references.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being there for the kids. I know parents have to work so it’s my job to not replace the parent, but to also show the kids that their not alone and they can have fun while their parents are working or on a date night. Just learning from the kids and helping them develop new curiosities and mature is so fun
I want to be intentional with every family that I am able to help out. I don’t want to just be bossy or just the nanny but hope to be a good fit for your family and a fun loving friend for the kiddos

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for kids with autism and Down syndrome. Though they need a little more attention in some areas it’s all about having fun in a safe way where they can learn to grow up while still being kids. I have 3 years of experience and loved it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is probably just the general building connections with kids to the point where they become excited to have me around and I am their friend and someone they can look up too. Those are moments I wish to achieve
