In high school I peer tutored a student with Downs Syndrome and my Junior year of College I studied abroad in Guatemala. While I was there I worked in a home/hospital for children with special needs. I helped take care of their basic life necessities such as bathing, changing and feeding. I also still volunteer for Special Olympics in Illinois.
