I have nannied a family with two children, ages 5 & 7.
I have nannied a family with a three year old and a three month old baby.
I regularly care for my niece who is 3 years old, and we just welcomed my newborn nephew into our family this year, so I have experience with very young babies and their needs as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love playing outside with children! Taking nature walks, building fairy houses, making snow forts! There is endless outside fun to be had with the right gear and attitude.
I love creative and imaginative play also. Doing things that stimulate children's senses and world building play is some of my favorite activities to do also.

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is staying attentive and in the present moment with the children you are caring for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is engaging in imaginative play with a three year old child, outdoors in wintertime. We created a whole world of "Snow Fairies"-- who lived in the ice "caves" of the snowbanks in the back yard. I love following and encouraging the world building ideas, no matter how silly, especially with toddlers and young children. Their belief in a magical world gives me hope.
