I worked with Kindercare, so I passed both National and State background checks as well as fingerprinting and mandated reporter training. I have been cleared to watch over 6 or more children at one time but I am comfortable with up to 10.

I am trauma-informed and comfortable working with special needs children.

I have attended classes for Infant and Adult CPR. Not certified but informed. (Will obtain soon)

I have my own transportation as well.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was recently a floating Teacher at Kindercare. I worked with Infants - Grade school. I was working as a nanny before I became a teacher and often volunteered at a nursery in my middle & high school years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I personally enjoy getting the kids out and about and learning about the natural world around them. I also enjoy teaching as a whole and will try to use every experience to teach something new. Reading, imagination time and getting them outside and away from excessive screens is my priority!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is the relationship between us all. If everything is based on trust, honesty and kindness, then we can get through most of life’s challenges (that are bound to come up!). Safety and trust, especially among younger children, is what I aim for and for parents, keeping you all updated and following YOUR rules, is what I prioritize.

My experience with special needs children...

In my recent Kindercare experience, I was one of two teachers in a preschool classroom and 5 of our dear students were special needs. As a result, I have experience and no issue working with both Autistic children and children with Down Syndrome, as well as very sensitive children, as every child deserves to have their needs met and catered to!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is seeing the kids smile. Taking care of others brings me a sense of joy, and seeing the smiles at the end of each day, both from parents and the kiddos, is always the best moment!
