Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In addition to my nanny experience, I currently work as a Lead Teacher at Beanstalk Academy, where I care for and supervise children ages 1–12 in a structured after-school setting. I plan engaging educational activities, support children's social and emotional development, help with homework, and maintain a safe, positive environment. I also have experience working with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children through private nannying and babysitting. My experience includes bottle feeding, diaper changes, potty training, meal preparation, bedtime routines, educational play, and creating age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development. I truly enjoy helping children grow and building trusting relationships with both children and their families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing arts and crafts, coloring, drawing, reading books, sensory play, building with blocks, puzzles, pretend play, and baking simple treats together indoors. When we're outside, I love going on walks, playing at the park, blowing bubbles, doing scavenger hunts, sidewalk chalk, playing catch, and exploring nature. I like activities that keep kids engaged, encourage creativity, and let them have fun while learning.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a relationship where a child feels safe, loved, and understood. Children learn and grow best when they know they have someone they can trust. I also believe it's important to support parents by creating a positive, reliable environment where their children can thrive.

My experience with special needs children...

In my current role as a Lead Teacher at Beanstalk Academy, I work with children who have a variety of needs, including a child with Level 3 Autism and another with ADHD. I support them by following their individual needs, maintaining consistent routines, using positive reinforcement, and creating a patient, structured, and supportive environment where they can succeed alongside their peers. This experience has helped me become more adaptable, understanding, and attentive to each child's unique way of learning and communicating.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little girl I cared for randomly told me, "I wish you could live with us forever." It was such a simple comment, but it reminded me how much trust and comfort children can build with the people who care for them.
