My experience watching over kiddos started when I volunteered in the nursery at our church. When I was in middle school, I just adored babies! I volunteered for summer church camps and started working as a babysitter for some of the families. As I got older and more into sports and a passion for coaching, I worked for different organizations from [phone number hidden] including Skyhawks Sports Academy, Thurston Junior Cheer, and Juniper Swim and Fitness. Since then, I’ve worked at Mount Bachelor and have met some awesome kiddos on hill!

Coaching for inclusive sports organizations over the years means having experience coaching athletes of all backgrounds and abilities, sometimes in a space with over 30 athletes. With these athletes, it has been important to talk with parents about their communication styles and what they want for their children to gain out of this experience. Accommodating their needs to make sure they have a great experience and feel comfortable is always my top priority.
