I am a mother of a 16-year-old that was diagnosed at two with PDD- pervasive developmental disorder a form of autism. Additionally, I worked as a direct caretaker of adults with autism for three years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was driving a child home from afterschool, and he said the cutest thing. He was eating his afternoon snack and when he finished eating his snack he asked, "may I be excused?" It was hilarious because where was he planning on going?
