More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive experience working with children, both personally and professionally. As a stay-at-home mom to my three children, ages 3 months, 5 years, and 6 years, I've developed strong nurturing and caregiving skills. Additionally, I've volunteered at the rape crisis center, supporting young children in crisis situations, which has taught me the importance of emotional support and sensitivity. Professionally, I've provided part-time and temporary childcare for several families over the past 5 years, caring for children aged 3-12. This experience has honed my ability to adapt to different ages, needs, and personalities, and I'm confident in my capacity to provide engaging, safe, and loving care for children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging in a variety of activities with children that foster imagination, creativity, and exploration! Indoors, I enjoy:
-Arts/crafts: painting, drawing, and making collages
- Music/dance parties: we sing and dance together
- Story-time/reading books: using fun voices and sound effects
- Cooking/baking: teaching children about measurements and mixing
- Indoor obstacle courses: use household items for active play
Outdoors, I enjoy:
-Nature walks and scavenger hunts, exploring the local plants & museums
- Park visits: playing on swings, slides, and climbing structures
- Sidewalk chalk art: creating masterpieces on the pavement
- Bubble fun: watching children giggle and chase bubbles
- Ball games: soccer, basketball, and baseball, promoting teamwork and physical activity
I like to do these specific activities because they allow children to learn, grow, and have fun while developing essential skills like problem-solving, socialization, and creativity.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Has to be the love and connection you share with the children! Building a strong, trusting relationship and creating a nurturing environment where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow and explore. It's about being present, engaged, and responsive to their unique needs, interests, and personalities.
As a nanny, you're not just a caregiver, but a role model, mentor, and a big part in their developmental journey. You have the privilege of shaping their young minds, fostering their curiosity, and helping them develop essential life skills.
The most rewarding part? Seeing the children thrive, overcome challenges, and blossom into confident, kind, and compassionate young people. Knowing I’ve made a positive impact on their lives and helped shape their future is the greatest joy of being a nanny!

My experience with special needs children...
I’ve cared for ADHD children from all spectrums as well as a couple Autistic kids whom I cared for & loved dearly. I also have dealt with children with behavioral issues & trauma related problems.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One ridiculous moment that still makes me chuckle is when a 5-year-old boy decided to 'reorganize' my kitchen cabinets... using an entire box of cereal! I walked into the kitchen to find cornflakes covering every inch of the countertops, floor, and even the ceiling! He looked up at me with a mischievous grin and said, 'I was just trying to make breakfast easier!' The sight was chaotic, but the intention was sweet. We spent the next hour cleaning up together, laughing and making memories. It was a messy moment, but a heartwarming one too!
