- Teachers Aid, Minnesota Renaissance School, Anoka MN: Toddler & Pre-school program assisting teachers in classroom of 20-25 children, storytelling, kinesthetic learning activities, and maintaining learning materials. Assisted in daycare/latchkey program.
- Nanny, Ryan Schrodek (Coon Rapids, MN) 6 yr old and 4 yr old boys in their home. Transporting to and from athletic activities, provided balance meals and supervised household duties. 6 yr old had special needs (Aspberger's).
- Teachers Aid, Step by Step Montessori. My full-time responsibilities as a teacher aid for the toddler and pre-school program included
preparing materials for the teachers, assisting the teachers in the classroom, storytelling, and
recess aid. I also was responsible for closing.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
There isn't much I don't enjoy doing with children, especially after having my own! Trampoline, Yard games, parks, biking, crafting, slime, you name it- I have probably done it with my two!

My experience with special needs children...
At the Minnesota Renaissance School I had several children with ADHD, one with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum disorder and ADHD, Asperger's disorder, with low low and high functioning. Challenging but wonderful children! At Ryan Schrodek's home, his 6 year old boy has Aspergerer's. He is now 25 and is an Electrician Journeyman! Very high functioning young man! So proud of him!
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I dressed up Kody (the 6 yr old with Asperger's as the Lion King and his 4 year old brother as a blue M & M (this was a long time before the Avengers or Sponge Bob, mind you!) and we went trick or treating in the neighborhood! They were so proud that NO ONE recognized them! (everyone did, but they pretended not to.) They were AMAZED at the candy they were given! AND I dressed up too!
