Hi! My name is Brogan, and I will be graduating Occupational Therapy Assistant school in August. I have a passion for helping children learn, grow, and build confidence. I have a M.S. in Psychology, and B.S. in Health and Fitness management. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for children while working in a daycare, serving as a summer camp counselor, coaching and mentoring youth through sports, and completing extensive clinical rotations in pediatric occupational therapy. Through my education and hands-on experience, I have worked with children of all ages and a wide variety of developmental needs. I have a strong understanding of developmental milestones, developmental delays, sensory processing, and various pediatric diagnoses, allowing me to adapt my approach to meet each child's individual needs while creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

As a former collegiate soccer player and team captain, I love staying active and enjoy playing outside, doing crafts, reading, playing games, and creating fun activities that keep kids engaged while helping them learn.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with children with special needs comes from my education as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and my pediatric clinical fieldwork. I have worked with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), cerebral palsy (CP), Down syndrome, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, genetic conditions, and other physical and neurological disabilities. During these experiences, I helped support children's development through play-based activities, sensory strategies, fine and gross motor activities, self-care skills, emotional regulation, and caregiver education. I recognize that every child is unique, and I enjoy taking the time to understand their strengths, interests, and individual needs so I can provide care that is patient, encouraging, and tailored to help them succeed.
