Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a behavioral technician with the Wisconsin Early Autism project. I also have ten nephews and three nieces that I have helped to care for as they have grown. I have my CPR certification in infant/child/adults, and I have also obtained my CNA certification and worked in the nursing home for a short period of time :)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing outside! I love coming up with creative games or activities to introduce learning about shapes/colors/spelling etc. I also love baking/cooking with children, I think it has the ability to teach a lot of patience for sure!
My experience with special needs children...
I have 2 years experience working with children with autism and Downs syndrome ages 2-8. I also have a personal connection to autism as my nephew is on the spectrum.
